Every item is written from the official release — PIB, the gazette, RBI, the ministry or the exam body — and carries the link to it. Nothing publishes until the citation is checked against the source.
Current affairs here are signed by the desk rather than by an individual editor. We would rather name the unit that is accountable than invent a byline — when a named editor owns the daily, this page will carry their name and credentials.
How the daily is made
A story is written from the official release — a PIB statement, a gazette notification, an RBI circular, a ministry order or the exam body's own notice — and the link to it is printed on the page. If there is no primary source, there is no item.
Figures, dates, scheme names and office-holders are read back against the release before publication. Where a number is contested or provisional, the page says so instead of picking one.
Each item is tagged to the exams it actually helps, and the tag is visible on the card. A story that no exam asks about does not get filed under one to pad a page.
A story that turns out to be wrong is corrected in place and its last-verified date moves. Write to us and we will fix it — the byline on every page exists so there is someone to write to.
