Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your use of AimTheTarget (the "Platform"). The Platform is owned and operated by FiveUP Tech LLP (LLPIN: AAT-4721), a limited liability partnership with its registered office at Wadner DL-724, Hinghaghat Road, Wadner, Wardha, Maharashtra 442301, India; "AimTheTarget" is a brand of FiveUP Tech LLP. These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000. By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy and the Content Policy, which are incorporated by reference.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Platform; sign-up requires this confirmation, and it is a condition of use — persons under 18 may not use the Platform, and accounts found to belong to minors will be closed. Provide accurate details and keep them current. Sign-in is passwordless (OTPs and magic links), so keep your phone, email and any linked messaging account secure — you are responsible for activity under your account until you report unauthorised use to support@aimthetarget.com. One account is for one person; sharing, reselling or institutional use without our written agreement is not permitted.
2. Free tier, trial & paid Passes
Parts of the Platform are free, subject to usage limits that may change over time. New accounts may receive a one-time free trial of paid features that needs no payment instrument and expires on its own — it never converts into a charge. Paid access is sold as one-time, fixed-duration Passes: a Pass never auto-renews, and when it expires your account simply returns to the free tier with your data intact. A Pass is a licence to use the Platform's features for its validity period — it is not transferable, not redeemable for cash, and not a guarantee of any outcome. We may add, change or withdraw features; if a change materially reduces the core value of an active Pass, the Refund Policy describes your remedies.
3. Payments, pricing & taxes
Payments are collected through RBI-authorised payment aggregators — currently Razorpay, and we may add other payment partners. Your card, UPI or banking details are entered directly with the payment partner and never touch our servers. All prices are in INR and, unless stated otherwise, inclusive of GST — the checkout price is the full amount, with no hidden or recurring charges. Your purchase completes and access activates when we receive payment confirmation from the gateway. If you raise a chargeback on a validly charged payment, we may suspend the associated entitlements while the dispute is resolved.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the notes and materials you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and index them (including machine-readable embeddings) solely to operate, secure and improve the Platform for you — storing your notes, extracting text from uploads, and generating the summaries, tags and flashcards you request. Notes are private to your account; there is no public-sharing feature. We do not sell your content, we do not authorise any AI provider to use it to train their models, and we may use only aggregated, de-identified usage information to improve the Platform. You are responsible for what you upload — it must not infringe others' rights or breach the Content Policy, and we may remove content that does.
5. AI features — important disclaimers
The Platform includes AI features: a study assistant, doubt-solving, AI-generated practice questions, note enrichment, flashcards and AI evaluation of descriptive answers. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated even when it sounds confident — verify anything you rely on against official sources. AI output is not legal, medical, financial or career advice, and AI scores on your answers are indicative study aids, not predictions of real exam marks. AI responses to your individual queries are generated in real time and are not human-reviewed before you see them. AI usage is subject to fair-use quotas shown in the product. Do not use AI features to generate unlawful content, extract prompts or models, or build a competing dataset or service.
6. No guarantee of results
AimTheTarget helps you prepare. We do not promise or guarantee any exam result, selection, rank, score, cut-off clearance, admission or employment. Success depends on factors outside our control, including your own preparation and the conduct of the examination body. Nothing on the Platform is an official communication from any exam authority — always verify notifications, dates, eligibility and results with the official body.
7. Intellectual property & acceptable use
The Platform, its software, design and original content are owned by us or our licensors; the AimTheTarget name and logo are proprietary marks of FiveUP Tech LLP. Previous-year questions and government notifications remain the property of their respective authorities and are reproduced with citation for educational reference. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Platform content for your own preparation. You may not scrape, bulk-download, republish, resell or use our content to train any machine-learning model; probe or bypass our security, rate limits, quotas or paywalls; manipulate test events, leaderboards or integrity signals; or impersonate another person. Prohibited content categories are listed in the Content Policy.
8. Communications & marketing
By creating an account you agree to receive transactional and service messages (OTPs, receipts, security and service notices) on your registered channels — these cannot be opted out of while your account is active. Optional study notifications are controlled by you in settings. Marketing messages are sent only with your opt-in consent, every one carries an opt-out, and we honour Do-Not-Disturb preferences under Indian telecom regulations.
9. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time and may request account closure and data deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, pose a risk to the Platform or other users, or where the law requires — for minor breaches we will normally warn you first. On termination for breach, amounts paid are refundable only as the Refund Policy states. Clauses on your content licence, IP, disclaimers, liability and disputes survive termination.
10. Disclaimers, liability & indemnity
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of accuracy, availability or uninterrupted operation, to the maximum extent the law permits. Our total aggregate liability for all claims is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three months preceding the claim (or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing in that period), and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses or for the outcome of any examination. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
11. Grievance redressal
In accordance with the IT Act, 2000, the IT Rules, 2021 and the DPDP Act, 2023, our Grievance Officer is Aaryan Sharma (legal@aimthetarget.com, FiveUP Tech LLP, Wadner DL-724, Hinghaghat Road, Wadner, Wardha, Maharashtra 442301, India). 12. Governing law & changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India and, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you hold, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Wardha, Maharashtra. We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified on the Platform with a revised effective date, and continued use after that date is acceptance. If you do not agree to a change, stop using the Platform; if you hold an active Pass and a change materially and adversely affects it, contact billing@aimthetarget.com.
